About Me...
Hello and welcome! *waves enthusiastically!*
I'm Jenessa and I'm the face behind Jenessa Hawks Events Florist. I've been playing my way around flowers since 2016, working full time professionally at established Florists; keeping houses colourful and vases full. I have varied experience in Wedding, funeral, event and occasion floristry but what gets my creative juices flowing most is working closely with wedding couples!
Following on from my own wedding and having my daughter, Flora, in 2021, I returned to work on a part time basis which has given me the opportunity to launch my own floristry venture.
I don't just love Flowers for their beauty. Flowers have the magic ability to speak volumes - honestly, if you listen closely to a Sunflower it has a lot to say for itself! Flowers convey love, friendship, sympathy and encouragement just by the way they're received. They can be a chance to express yourself and they bare witness to some of the most important moments of our lives.

Working with flowers never has a dull moment and I'm still giddy when every season comes into play. I love working with lots of colours but am a sucker for a luxury neutral theme.
I take care in using the best quality flowers, sourcing from specially selected suppliers including local growers when the seasons allow, and I also work with the aim to operate as sustainably as possible.
Priding myself on giving exceptional service, one thing I have always loved about my role is being able to connect to clients and work together to come up with something creative. Not everyone knows what they want and choosing your flowers for an occasion can be daunting at first. I'm confident that with my experience and knowledge I can always get to the bottom of what you require and we can have fun along the way.
